A Blogging Mayor
We’re not too far from Round Lake, Illinois, but they seem far and away more advanced than Oconomowoc. Why? Because the mayor has a blog.
How awesome is that? Their mayor gets to communicate directly with the people, not just in selected quotes from the media. There’s even trackbacks and comments. Bill Gentes seems to be putting faith in the people of his village. Hopefully they treat his openness with the respect it deserves. Thanks Bill, other mayors could take a lesson from you.
I wonder what it would take to get Maury Sullivan to blog?
