What is this “Free Comic Book Day” thing? Just take a look at the FAQ:

1. What is “Free Comic Book Day?”

As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world are giving away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.

If you haven’t stopped by Kowabunga Comics yet, Free Comic Book Day would be a good day to do so. It’s Saturday May 6th, 2006.
