Lakewalk For Cancer 2005
The 2005 Lakewalk For Cancer will take place on Saturday May 7th, 2005 at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc. JS Online has a story about it: Area walkers hit the street to help fight cancer, raise awareness:
Planners say they expect a turnout higher than last year’s, with more than 7,200 people expected to participate in all three walks, which start simultaneously at 10 a.m., with pre-walk activities beginning at 8 a.m.
…an estimated 1,600 participants will gather for the walk in Fowler Lake Park to the backdrop of bagpipers and Trinity Irish Dancers. Cancer survivors will wear white hats.
